A safe, natural and biodegradable moisturiser. It promotes the association of water molecular clusters, forming a hydration layer around DNA and proteins, so as to protect macromolecules and cell membranes inside microbes from damage caused by UV light, high temperature and high salt etc.

MOISTURISES
Natori Ectoin 100 has excellent moisturizing effect, skin-barrier repairing and water retention properties. Strong electronegativity promotes association of water molecules within skin to produce kosmotropic effect enhancing water structures. Improves both short term and long term moisturising effect.
RELIEVES
Natori Ectoin 100 can protect Langerhans cells from external damages and enhance its activity, thus, achieving the effect of relieving external stimulations. Langerhans cells are important to maintain normal immunity of skin cells. It is found that 1% of Ectoin has similar relieving effect as 0.25% of Hydrocortisone. Additionally, it reduces the activity of inflammation inducing factors such as TNF-α, IL-6, IL-8 and PGE-2.
REPAIRS AND PROTECTS
Natori Ectoin 100 has repairing effect on the damages caused by UV (Higher concentration, stronger repairing effect). It increases the cell activity of epidermis cells and fibroblasts. According to Comet Assay, 0.1mM Ectoin can effectively resist the damages caused by UV and visible light.
Natori Ectoin 100 has remarkable protective and repairing efficacy, can help resist skin external stimulus, and can be widely used in personal care products such as repairing, anti-pollution, sunscreen, after-sun repair, anti-aging, etc.
