Natori Trehalose 100
Trehalose
Natori Trehalose 100 is a non-reducing sugar which widely exists in many edible plants, animals and microorganisms, formed by an alpha,alpha-1,1-glucoside bond between two alpha-glucose units. This bonding makes trehalose very resistant to acid hydrolysis, and therefore stable in solution at high temperatures, even under acidic conditions. This product has high water retention capabilities and is widely used in food and cosmetics. The application of trehalose in cosmetics is based on its excellent characteristic of maintaining cell activity, providing high performance moisturization.
